The org's alleged insurance scheme? When my previous KH was seriously damaged, two RBC hitmen were sent from the Branch to have a meeting with the Elders. They tried (unsuccessfully) to get the congregation to pay for certain aspects of the repair work, but were successful in requiring that the congregation members carry out many hours of clean up work and painting, before the RBC were sent in. And we waited months for the hall to be done.

So the answer is this - the org's insurance may cost the congregations more.

Help! Mike & Kim videos all being deleted by Youtube

due to watchtower flagging the mike & kim videos on youtube for copyright, youtube is giving them 6 days before they are shutting down their entire youtube channel.

can you help with a mass downloading program and then reuploading them on a mirror ?

would hate to lose all those good videos!

Isn't it a great incentive for J.W.'s to donate their hard earned cash when they see how wisely the "~~faithful~~ evil slave" is using their money - to shut down anyone who spreads WTBTS material on the internet and to shut up anyone who receives damages from them because of the org's PPP. It warms my heart to see how the Warwick Pharisees are relentlessly fleecing their (unconscious) worshippers.

The scale of the critical damage their greed is causing to the org by "switching off" J.W.'s, can only be joyfully speculated upon! Keep it up scumbags!

Just another example from the cult to show that "the worldwide brotherhood" has different glorified levels like Scientology & Freemasonry. J.W's are not "all brothers" as they love to brag about - and neither does the " faithful slave" provide the same "spiritual food" to all of the "domestics".

How many "leave the truth" because of the behaviour of harsh elders?

just wondering how many are assisted to wake up after experiencing harsh treatment from "the loving shepherds of the congregation"?.

perhaps some were starting to wake up, and such behaviour or treatment gave them the push to leave?.

as jesus supposedly said "come to me all who are toiling and loaded down, and i will refresh you.

I can truthfully say that several corrupt and nasty elders in a couple of congregations was what incited me to start critically examining whether I had found "the true religion" or not.

Once the surface is scratched, the veneer doesn't take long to disintegrate. Thank you, "hiding places from the wind."

Just need to vent a little

in the last week i have had three visits from brothers.

so 6 witnesses in all as they come in pairs.

now considering i used to go to the meetings, sit by myself and literally no one talked to me - ever - why the concern all of a sudden?.

So why the sudden bombardment??

Maybe it's because the alleged "witnessing for Jehovah" (not Christ) and "trolley zombieism" aren't effective on worldly people in the developed world, so inactive J.W.'s are a good alternative target, especially as it will mean being invited into a house. And it makes the "witnessing" J.W. feel oh so much more spiritually superior as they highlight the inactive one's perilous condition.

Next time, take the 5th. Just say you've got to deal with things which you can't talk about right now. No need to give them "excuses." Make it clear that you can't/won't discuss your "problems."

Pffft! Everyone should know by now that the holy trinity of the WTBTS, the G.B. & the Kingdom Hall are essential for salvation at Armageddon. (or maybe just a bunker!)
